Meeting a(nother) Princess.

Nigel had promised to meet Amaya at her house today - and so here he is. Dressed in a hoodie (as he just can't stay warm when he's solid) and a pair of dark, faded jeans, he knocks on her front door.

"I am in no particular rush, Princess." He sits. "...You've hidden Mountain Dew, right?"

"Noooo. Why would I hide Mountain Dew?" She is so lying, Hanan. She has a huge stash hidden.

His lips twitch at the corners. Yeah, right, Amaya. He doesn't believe you one itty bitty bit. "You realize you're speaking to me, yes?"

She sighs. "Yes, I know. I do have some hidden. Did you want one?"

He gave her his best smile. "I haven't had one in a long, long time. It would be nice."

He always did have the most gorgeous smile, which she returns with her best smile. "Okay, handsome. I'll go get you one." And she gets up and soon returns with two cans of Mountain Dew in hand. Sitting back down, she hands him one. "Here you go."

He takes it, wipes the condensation away with his fingers then pops it open. Mmmm. Tasty. "Thank you, Princess. But you know that stuff isn't good for the child. But then, lots of things aren't good for babies, I guess."

Yeah, she figured he probably already knew about the baby. "I know, Hanan. I don't drink it as much as I use to. I think Mountain Dew is the only bad thing that goes into my body, but. . .it taste yummy." She smiles before popping open her can and taking a sip.

He can't help it, he's joined to the earth, and he feels everything that happens in and around Irie. Imagine what it felt like to feel Kage incinerating the plants. "You've got a point," he says as he sits back and relaxes. "You excited for the babe?"

Huh, that means poor Hanan felt it when Amaya died. So sad. "Hm, people should agree with me more often." She smirks. "Yes, I am. John and I got the baby room all set up already. Went to the doctor and got the shock of my life, but everything is okay."

He did. He doesn't remember much of it, as he doesn't do death well. He was in his grave for a long time, really unable to deal. Poor guy.

"You gonna keep me in suspense, Princess, or am I going to wither as I wait with bated breath?"

She shakes her head, giggling. "The doctor just told me my pregnancy isn't going to be as long as a normal pregnancy. My due date is in October. Plus, he told me I have to take it easy. So, John hasn't been letting me clean at all. Which is driving me crazy, so I clean just a itty bitty bit when he isn't around."

She pauses and takes another sip of her soda before tilting her head, smiling at him. "But anyways, what all have you been up to lately, hun?"

"He's not there a lot, right? Still travels. So I bet you still get to clean a lot." He thought she needed an intervention for cleaning, to be honest.

...Just working on the house. Cassie says I need to get out more. I'm boring, remember?"

She shrugs. "I get some done. Nowadays, I get tired more easily, so I can't do as much. Kinda' annoying."

She truly never thought of Hanan as boring, so his comment makes her raise an eyebrow. "Boring? I don't think so. You are just. . .you. I don't remember ever having boring times with you."

"I'm not saying it's a bad thing, Maya, just.. different. I am not like..anyone else we know." He eyes her. A long while ago he'd have offered to rub her feet for her.. but that would mean that her babe was his.

Not a good line of thinking, Nigel Hanan. Stop it. "Have you eaten?"

"Well, that's what I always loved about you. You aren't the typical man."


She'll shake her head. "No, not really. Haven't really been eating too much. My stomach doesn't allow it lately." And she'll smile and lean over, giving him a quick peck on the cheek. "Are you hungry though? I can get you something."

...Yes, he was. "No, but thank you. I would have made you something if you were hungry, though."

Amaya felt that Hanan, but she won't say anything, she will just...grin. "Well, I am hungry, but I don't want to risk it, you know? But that is sweet, that you would make me something." That earns him another peck on the cheek.

"Amaya.." He says very quietly. "I remember you can feel emotions. Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

"Um. . .maybe? I don't know." She giggles nervously. "I'm sorry, Hanan." Looking away, she runs her fingers through her hair. "So...um, are you sure you don't want some chips, a cookie, fruit. . .anything?"

"What I want, Amaya, isn't allowed to me." And yes, his eyes are subtly sliding down her body. "But I thank you for the offer."

She glances at him. "Why isn't it allowed, Hanan?" She says, only move a few inches closer toward him.

"Because you belong with another man, Amaya." And while he notices her moving closer, he doesn't make the move to move back, but nor does he move towards her either. "You shouldn't be doing that, Princess."

"I know, but...nevermind." Even though he didn't move closer, she moved another few inches closer. "And shouldn't do what, handsome?" She says, tilting her head to the side.

"Coming this close to me when you feel like that." He wavers a little bit, flickering then solidifying again. "You want me to kiss you."
